The club select, or travel soccer program, is meant for those players who are more serious about soccer. For those players whose skills are improving and want to experience more competition, travel offers a more competitive environment than the recreational play of in-house teams. Playing against a wider set of teams with a higher level of skill, teamwork and dedication will expand the players view of what soccer is and what the player can be. Players practice twice a week and play against teams made of the best players from other nearby clubs. Travel players in Beekman receive additional professional training, attend tournaments outside of the regular season, and are the foundation of the Beekman Cup.
Teams are formed in the spring after tryouts are held. Players 7 and older can (should) consider trying out.
The Travel teams for the Fall /Spring season are formed and the schedules are published on the East Hudson Youth Soccer League web site.
